The first Chapter

how we met

It began in the halls of Brown University, where a shared art history class brought us together in the fall of 2015. Will claims he strategically chose the seat next to Lexi on the first day; Lexi maintains it was the only spot left. Either way, that fortuitous seating arrangement led to coffee dates at Blue State, study sessions that somehow always ran long, and eventually, a first real date at Al Forno.

Manhattan & Beyond

a beautiful horizon

After graduation, as we both built our lives in Manhattan, our shared love of art and travel took us on adventures around the world. But it was our first trip to Venice in 2022 that truly captured our hearts. Walking the quiet calli at dawn, getting lost in the maze-like streets, and sharing plates of pasta in tiny bacari – we fell in love all over again in this magical city.

The Proposal

Two years later, Will convinced Lexi they needed to return to Venice "for an important gallery opening." On their first morning, as the sun rose over the Grand Canal, Will led Lexi to the Accademia Bridge – their favorite spot in the city. There, with the dome of Santa Maria della Salute as witness, he got down on one knee.

The rest, as they say, is history.
