our beloved wedding party

Celebrating with us in Venice

the couple

ALEXANDRA (LEXI) MONTGOMERY

The Bride

From running a prestigious Manhattan art gallery to planning the perfect dinner party, Lexi approaches everything with creativity and grace. Her infectious laugh can often be heard echoing through gallery openings, and her encyclopedic knowledge of Renaissance art once helped her win a heated trivia night against Will's finance team (he's still recovering). When she's not discovering new artists or planning their next adventure, you'll find her attempting to recreate pasta dishes from their favorite Venetian bacari.

WILLIAM (WILL) HAYES

The Groom

A numbers guy with an unexpected passion for art history (thanks to strategically choosing a seat next to Lexi in Art History 101), Will spends his days in private equity and his evenings as the self-proclaimed "best taste-tester in Manhattan." Known for his surprise travel planning and ability to find the perfect wine pairing, Will's greatest accomplishment remains convincing Lexi that getting lost in Venice was all part of his master proposal plan.

bridesmaids

Catherine Montgomery

maid of honor
sister of the bride

Catherine and Lexi's story begins with typical sister shenanigans in Greenwich and evolves into a friendship that spans continents. From late-night art exhibition installations to emergency coffee runs, Catherine has been Lexi's partner in crime since day one. She's also responsible for introducing Lexi to the Aperol Spritz, forever changing their summer drink preferences.

Emma Bradford

Friend since Childhood

Met in ballet class at age 4; still remembers Lexi's unique interpretation of Swan Lake. Now a pediatric surgeon in Boston, Emma remains Lexi's go-to for early morning chats and honest fashion advice.

Olivia Chen

Mike's Wife & Friend

Crossed paths with Lexi at a Sotheby's auction and bonded over their shared love of contemporary photography. Their weekly coffee dates turned into dinner parties, which turned into couples' trips with Will and Mike. Now runs her own photography gallery in SoHo.

Sophia Martinez

Graduate School Friend

Met during their Art History master's program at NYU. Survived countless all-nighters together cataloging Renaissance paintings. Now a curator at The Met, she's Lexi's partner in art crime and fellow Italian wine enthusiast.

Victoria (Tori) Pierce

College Roommate

Lived across the hall from Lexi at Brown and was the first to meet Will (and approve). A corporate lawyer by day and amateur chef by night, she's been testing Will's Italian recipes since his first attempt at carbonara.

Claire Rothschild

Manhattan Neighbor

Met at their building's rooftop garden while both attempting to grow herbs. Failed at gardening but succeeded in forming a friendship that led to weekly farmers' market trips and cooking adventures. Works in sustainable fashion and always knows the best new restaurants in the city.

groomsmen

James Hayes

Best Man
Brother of the Groom

James likes to take credit for Will's refined taste, having dragged him to countless museums during their childhood travels. A history professor at Yale, he's promised to keep the embarrassing stories to a minimum in his speech (but no guarantees).

Mike Chen

College roommate

Mike and Will's friendship was forged during late-night study sessions and early-morning rowing practices at Brown. He witnessed Will's first attempt at Italian cooking (a disaster) and his last (significantly better).

Alex Reynolds

Finance Friend

Met during their first year in private equity and bonded over their shared secret passion for art. Has been Will's go-to consultant for all things romantic, from restaurant recommendations to proposal planning.

David Park

Childhood Friend

Known Will since their days at Greenwich Country Day. Their competitive tennis matches evolved into a friendship spanning decades. Now a tech entrepreneur in San Francisco, he still challenges Will to tennis matches during bi-coastal visits.

Tom Barrett

College Teammate

Former captain of Brown's rowing team who taught Will the importance of early mornings and team spirit. Now a sports medicine doctor in Boston, he's still the one who gets everyone together for alumni events.

Marcus Fitzgerald

Manhattan Social Circle

Met through mutual friends at a charity gala and quickly became part of the regular Sunday dinner crew. A restaurant owner himself, he's been instrumental in helping Will perfect his Italian cooking skills and secure impossible dinner reservations.
